Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. Along with BJJ, she also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for a TKO victory in the 2nd round. She continued her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant capacity. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter receiving their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via majority decision.
