Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She was born and raised in a council estate in the south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, like King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe got her start in acting by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with her drama The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was removed from The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen to play Ashley Davenport. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that she would quit the show following a guest appearance in the pilot episode from the 3rd season. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing baseball and arenas. Ashley was never able to walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she started Baby Ballet and fell in the love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's love for dancing. When she was in the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet and pointe as well as acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the distinction of "top individualist".
