Dina Meyer was raised and born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing junior high, she moved from Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. She has two siblings, an older brother named Gregory as well as a younger sibling named Evan. When she was nine until 16, she began working in the entertainment business through modeling. Her acting education began in The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques along with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training and also Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors that have undergone the same type of instruction. Her first acting role came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. After that, she was the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she did almost all of her stunts herself, and established herself as an athlete. The talent agent she worked with was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to score a recurring role on Friends.
